Salesforce cuts further 700 jobs
Salesforce will lay off about 700 employees, representing about 1% of its global workforce, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Salesforce still has about 1,000 job openings, indicating that this is more of a routine adjustment than a broader downsizing. The company grew aggressively as demand for cloud services increased during the pandemic.
For Salesforce, this is the second round of cuts. By 2022, 10% of global jobs disappeared. Salesforce also closed some offices.
