Salesforce names new general counsel

Salesforce has promoted Todd Machtmes to general counsel, according to a report from Law.com's Corporate Counsel. Machtmes, who joined Salesforce’s legal team in 2005, will begin in his new role Feb. 1, the website reports. He is currently executive vice president in Salesforce’s commercial legal department.
