Without the ability to use live events to develop leads and acquire customers, marketers are hiring journalists and building divisions to produce videos, podcasts, and other branded content.


Salesforce, for instance, hired 50 script writers and broadcast producers and built a studio to produce development programming for its streaming service, Salesforce+, which is set to launch next month.
