Salesforce boss warns of ‘trust crisis’ facing tech and government

Big tech companies and governments are in the midst of a “trust crisis” and must work together more effectively to create regulations suitable for a booming post-COVID-19 digital economy, Salesforce Australia chief executive Pip Marlow has warned.

The former local Microsoft boss and senior Suncorp executive will speak at The Australian Financial Review Business Summit on Wednesday, as big global tech companies and governments are wrestling over the legislative settings that will govern an increasingly digital world.
