Salesforce To Acquire AI Customer Agent Platform Fin For $3.6 Billion

Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire customer agent company Fin, formerly known as Intercom, for approximately $3.6 billion. The transaction, subject to customary adjustments and regulatory clearances, is scheduled to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027. Salesforce explicitly noted that the multibillion-dollar buyout will not alter its previously announced fiscal year 2027 financial guidance or affect its ongoing capital return program.
