Salesforce says context is king

Large language models (LLMs) respond to user questions based on their pretrained dataset – e.g., the internet pre-2025. If the LLM cannot respond based on information within that dataset, it will either say it cannot provide an answer or generate a response that sounds plausible but is incorrect. Grounding an LLM is the process of using additional, more-specific data in the prompt or domain-specific knowledge, to get the LLM to respond accurately and without mistakes.
