Salesforce's $8 Billion Informatica Deal Gets German Competition Clearance

Germany's competition regulator approved Salesforce's $8 billion bid to acquire Informatica less than three months after the companies went public with the plan.

San Francisco-headquartered Salesforce said in late May that it would buy U.S. data-management software group Informatica in a deal that would bolster its artificial-intelligence capabilities.
