Salesforce’s UK subsidiary faced a £54.7 million ($71.9 million) corporate tax bill last year following an agreement with tax authorities over its transfer pricing practices.
The UK arm of the software-as-a-service provider disclosed it had paid His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs an additional £31.8 million in back taxes as part of a bilateral advance pricing agreement related to its transfer pricing methodology, according to Companies House filings.
