Salesforce expands model lineup in support of agentic AI

Tech vendors are working to make AI agents enterprise-ready, lowering barriers to entry, enhancing capabilities and offering guardrails as the technology catches on. But there’s still room for improvement. 

“Currently, LLM intelligence is jagged,” Silvio Savarese, chief scientist at Salesforce AI Research, said during a media roundtable Wednesday. “Its performance is extremely unstable in terms of consistency. This is something that we don’t really want deployed in the enterprise.”
