Amazon Web Services is significantly expanding its "Kiro Students" program, bringing free access to its advanced AI-powered software development tool to 132 universities across 18 countries. Designed to prepare the next generation of builders for the future of work, the initiative provides enrolled students with 12 months of free access to the Kiro Pro tier, which includes 1,000 monthly credits valued at $240 annually. By removing financial barriers, AWS is empowering students to leverage professional agentic coding tools to build complex projects, automate workflows, and prototype startup ideas directly from their dorms or campus labs.
