Salesforce buys Toopher a mobile authentication startup

Salesforce acquires Toopher on April 1, 2015. According to the deal Toopher will no longer sell its services. The acquisition is thought to help bolster Salesforce security for its mobile app users. Founders of Toopher, Josh Alexander and Evan Grimm, wrote in a statement that "We are thrilled to join Salesforce, where we'll work on delivering the Toopher vision on a much larger scale as part of the world's #1 Cloud Platform."
