A proposal by London-based activist investor Tulipshare to investigate racial justice at Salesforce was rejected by the tech giant — a blow for the UK startup.

Tulipshare submitted the plans for a probe after two senior employees resigned last year from Salesforce and then took to social media to cite a “toxic environment” and “disingenuous marketing around equality”. About 2,500 of Salesforce's 77,000-strong staff are in the UK, many are based at the Salesforce Tower in the City of London.
