The developer Johnny Ronan has lodged new plans to add extra floors to his planned Salesforce Tower in the Dublin docklands, in the latest twist to the building saga. The Spencer Place Development Company, backed by Ronan and Colony Capital, reapplied last week for permission to build four blocks of up to 11 storeys, just days after Dublin city council refused permission for extra floors. The company claims the two extra floors could house 1,000 more staff and has taken out newspaper ads to drum up support for higher buildings in Dublin.
