Amazon Web Services (AWS) has won a $581 million contract to support the U.S. Air Force's "Cloud One" program. This sole-source firm-fixed-price deal involves providing cloud services and operating designated data centers across the contiguous United States through December 2028. The agreement aims to support the Air Force's enterprise cloud environment, which serves multiple internal customers and mission-critical applications. Initial funding of approximately $3.5 million has been obligated for operations and maintenance at the time of the award.
