A mysterious developer operating under the name "Advance Phase LLC" is planning a $4.8 billion data center campus in Walla Walla, Washington, with evidence strongly pointing to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The project, located at the Wallula Gap Business Park, involves constructing 16 data centers across 500 acres, totaling over 3.4 million square feet. While the company has only been described as a "Fortune 50 tech giant," Google has denied involvement, and the site's proximity to AWS’s existing Oregon infrastructure makes Amazon the likely backer of this massive expansion.
