AT&T has announced a sweeping strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Amazon Leo (formerly Project Kuiper) to overhaul its connectivity infrastructure. The deal involves three key pillars: AT&T will migrate on-premises workloads to AWS Outposts to modernize its network; it will provide high-capacity fiber to AWS data centers to support booming AI demands; and it will leverage Amazon Leo’s low Earth orbit satellites to extend broadband access to remote business customers. The companies plan to showcase these hybrid cloud and satellite innovations at Mobile World Congress 2026.
