Amazon Web Services (AWS) has reported localized cloud service outages in the Middle East after its data center facilities in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain sustained physical damage. According to company updates, "objects"—widely reported by news outlets as debris from the ongoing regional conflict—struck a UAE facility, sparking a fire that prompted local authorities to cut power for safety. AWS is actively coordinating with local officials to safely repair the cooling and power systems, while advising affected customers to reroute their workloads to alternate, unaffected regions during the recovery process.
