Seattle, WA Administrators Group August Meeting
Join us for a conversation about career and self-promotion as we challenge you to Build your Personal Portfolio on Salesforce! Create a personal Community website with your own personal portfolio showcasing your skills. Earn a Trailhead badge, learn something new about Salesforce Community Cloud and walk away with your very own site. Let Salesforce help you shine a spotlight on yourself—highlighting who you are and what you’ve accomplished—and let it be proof of your growing Salesforce skills!
We will welcome guest speaker, Chris Hopper, who has branded himself as The CRM Recruiter, to hear how he defines a personal brand, why personal branding and self-promotion is necessary and approaches and tools to build a better brand. Chris will also share some success stories to get us motivated and there will be time for question and answer.
Everyone who creates a site will be entered to win the contest! Winners will be announced at our September meeting where we will also be kicking off our annual salary survey.

8:30 AM The Return of the Dark Side of Benchmarking
Benchmarking is the art of figuring out how much CPU time is being used. It tries to answer the question of which is faster: Apex, Flow, Processes or Workflows – and by how much? It’s a technique that can help you choose and optimize your org customizations. In this session you’ll learn how to benchmark declarative to take your own measurements, and how to use those insights to improve performance and avoid the dreaded CPU timeouts in your org.
