Signs point to change: Why Salesforce CPQ customers should rethink their strategy now

Salesforce’s quiet pivot away from its legacy CPQ product (SteelBrick) has sparked a wave of uncertainty in the market. While no public ”End of Sale” announcement has been made, Salesforce partners and ecosystem sources suggest new sales of Salesforce CPQ are winding down and customers are being encouraged to migrate to Salesforce Revenue Cloud. 

This shift has major implications for companies that rely on fast, flexible quoting processes. It’s not just a product pivot but more of a signal that Salesforce is fundamentally changing its approach to revenue operations.
