Salesforce unveils AIforce to let agents run enterprise software, not replace it

Global software company Salesforce, Inc. presented "the future of software" at its annual flagship event, Dreamforce 2026, held Sept. 15–17 local time at Moscone Center in San Francisco. It predicted that artificial intelligence (AI) will not replace existing enterprise software, but will serve as a new interface—a work touchpoint—where AI uses software on behalf of people to carry out various tasks.
