Salesforce TDX 2026 - what does it really mean to be a Trailblazer in an agentic future?

What happens if you build technology that has the potential to eat the lunch of your loyal community? Of the advocates, solution architects, and developers that have spent a decade of their collective blood, sweat and tears driving a big part of your success?
It looks like Salesforce is going to have to figure that out — before most people have even seen the problem coming.
Because as I discovered at its recent TDX conference, when one of enterprise software’s most ambitious agentic transformations comes up against the long-settled structures of its own tightly branded role community, the resulting tensions feel less like local friction and more like an early sign of how agents could begin to destabilize long-standing IT role identities.
