Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) shares climbed about 3% on Thursday after the company said the U.S. Department of Labor is rolling out its Agentforce AI platform to modernize the agency's National Contact Center.

The DOL is deploying a suite of autonomous AI agents designed to reason and take action, providing around-the-clock support to American workers and retirees. The new system includes DOLA, an agent that can automate inquiries, collect intake details, open formal cases and escalate complex issues to human staff.
