Salesforce Snags $1.6B VA Deal as Wall Street Debates CRM

Salesforce (CRM) shares edged higher in pre‑market trade after the company landed a $1.6 billion contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The one‑year deal, with options for two more, will see Salesforce’s cloud, data, and AI tools modernize VA systems, expanding a federal footprint that already includes a $5.6 billion U.S. Army contract and a $72 million Air Force deal.
