The Generative AI party seems to be winding down, at least for Salesforce. The enterprise software giant, once one of the loudest cheerleaders for Generative AI, is quietly scaling back its reliance on large language models over reliability concerns. The company, which recently cut around 4,000 support roles and redeployed hundreds of employees into other areas by automating tasks through its AI platform Agentforce, is now openly acknowledging that its confidence in LLMs has dipped over the past year.
