Salesforce San Francisco HQ combines ‘homeliness’ and sophistication

Nestled in the Bay Area in downtown San Francisco, the recently completed headquarters (HQ) of the company, Salesforce, rising more than 50 storeys, was designed as a “home away from home” for the company’s employees, with a modern yet timeless aesthetic.

The architect, Feldman Architecture, designed the 929-m2 (10,000-sf) office area, called Salesforce Tower, keeping in mind the client’s values with the Bay Area’s cultural ethos—modern yet timeless, warm yet contemporary. The plan introduced residential design elements into the tower, including a living room, private nooks, and a kitchen, reimagining office functionality with a focus on the personal and human aspects.
