Salesforce promotes Miguel Milano to operating chief under Marc Benioff

Salesforce has promoted President and Chief Revenue Officer Miguel Milano to chief operating officer, giving the veteran sales executive a broader role under Chair and CEO Marc Benioff, CNBC reported Wednesday.

Milano has led Salesforce’s worldwide sales and distribution since rejoining the company in August 2023. Salesforce’s public biography still carried his previous title when reviewed Thursday, and the company had not published a detailed breakdown of the operations that will move under him.
