Salesforce-owned Tableau doubles down on Seattle with lease renewal

Tableau, a visual analytics platform owned by the San Francisco-based tech giant Salesforce, will keep its office lease in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.

Salesforce said in a news release Monday it has renewed its lease for Data 1, a five-story office building at 744 N. 34th St. The new agreement will take effect after the current lease expires in 2029, indicating a reversal of the company’s plans to get rid of Tableau-occupied office space.
