Salesforce has acquired MetaMind, Second acquisition of 2016

MetaMind, A Palo Alto-based AI startup founded in July of 2014, is being acquired by Salesforce. MetaMind CEO Richard Socher stated in a post that "Salesforce plans to use the technology from MetaMind to further automate and personalize customer support, marketing automation, and many other business processes." Before the acquisition MetaMind's general purpose platform was designed to predict outcomes for language, vision, and database tasks. Metamind is though to be bought for around $32.8 million on April 4, 2016. Check out the news!
