Salesforce and the Art of No Deal

At Salesforce.com, the term “organic” comes up so often now, you would think the cloud-software giant is hawking Brussels sprouts. The word, or some variation on it, was mentioned half a dozen times on Salesforce’s conference call to discuss its fiscal third-quarter results Tuesday afternoon, plus another nine times by co-CEO Keith Block at a Credit Suisse investment conference later in the day.
