Salesforce Inc. escaped a revived patent infringement lawsuit as a Nevada federal judge found the plaintiff doesn’t have the right to sue over the protected technology.

Judge Miranda Du entered judgment dismissing the case against Salesforce Monday, following her March 28 opinion that found the 2012 contract transferring the rights to two patents to Applications in Internet Time LLC is null and void because the original patent owner had sold them before the contract with AIT.
