Salesforce acquires Coolan - a data analytics center

On July 21, 2016, Coolan, a startup has been acquired by Salesforce. Coolan developes software for analyzing data about data center hardware. Coolan was founded in December of 2013. It was headed by Amir Michael, ex-Facebook employee that also cofounded the Open Compute Project. Amir Michaels wrote that, "Coolan will help Salesforce optimize its infastructure as it scales to support customer growth around the world." Check out the news!
