Meta and Salesforce want to re-hire people they fired earlier this year

At the beginning of this year, tech giants like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Meta, among others, laid off employees on a large scale for a number of reasons. While some tech giants admitted that they had over-hired during the pandemic, others simply needed to reduce costs in order to survive. No matter the reason, thousands of employees and their families bore the cost as their lives were massively impacted. Every other day, news of layoffs impacted people and they turned to LinkedIn to share their stories and look for new opportunities. And now, as per reports, some of these companies want to re-hire the employees that they fired earlier.
