A minimalist vector illustration on a white background showing three glowing green AI microchips feeding data into a cloud server rack, representing AWS's massive expansion of NVIDIA GPUs.

Driven by exploding demand for generative and agentic AI, Amazon is massively expanding its infrastructure partnership with NVIDIA. Initially committing to 1 million GPUs earlier this year, AWS is now tripling that order to deploy over 3 million NVIDIA GPUs—including the upcoming Blackwell Ultra and Rubin architectures—across its global data centers between 2027 and 2028. The expanded agreement also introduces NVIDIA's Vera CPUs and custom "NVHBM" memory to AWS, and notably allocates 100,000 GPUs specifically for ultra-secure US government "AI factories."
