SALESFORCE ORG MIGRATION FOR FASTER DEPLOYMENTS
THE CHALLENGE
Our client's organization had multiple teams using different instances of Salesforce and each instance required regular releases. These release cycles were heavily dependent on each team which required coordination, lead to overwriting code, and created deployment issues. Our client wanted to own their own release cycles, not be dependent on other teams, and to increase their productivity and velocity.

OUR SOLUTION
We set up a new Salesforce instance for our client and migrated all components, configurations, code, and data. For data sets without dependencies, we used Data Loader, while for dependent data sets, we developed custom code to ensure accurate migration. To accelerate the process, we leveraged the Ant Migration Tool to transfer code and configurations efficiently. This allowed our client to focus their efforts on testing and validating that existing functionality performed consistently in the new environment. Since completing the migration, the client has increased their deployment frequency from once a month to multiple times per month, boosting both productivity and user satisfaction.
