THE CHALLENGE
After each technician visit, customers require detailed invoices listing services, parts, recommendations, and cost breakdowns. While technicians enter data into Salesforce during the visit, back-office staff must manually re-enter this information into the accounting system to generate PDF invoices. This error-prone process delays invoices by weeks and complicates reviewing or disputing charges for both parties.

OUR SOLUTION
We used Conga Composer to merge Salesforce data into a formatted Excel invoice template. Conga Composer generated a professional PDF invoice with all technician-entered details, which was then automatically sent to the customer for immediate review. This allowed customers to validate the invoice before the technician even leaves the site.
