OVERVIEW
A large enterprise needed a flexible way to track and visualize 26 major project milestones, including plan, forecast, actual, and risk data. Off-the-shelf tools like Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet couldn’t meet the unique requirements of each project, resulting in inconsistent reporting across teams. Fiduciary Tech implemented a scalable, Skuid-based UI solution that improved visibility, user experience, and reporting accuracy while reducing reliance on full-code development.
THE CHALLENGE
The client needed a single portal that could consolidate milestone data from both Salesforce. Standard Salesforce layouts couldn’t display the data in the table format they required, limiting usability and reporting accuracy. With limited developer resources and a competitive IT market, the client needed a flexible, easy-to-use front-end solution that allowed rapid prototyping and iterative feedback.

OUR SOLUTION
Fiduciary Tech first implemented a Salesforce managed package to organize and display milestone data using custom objects and fields. As the client’s requirements evolved, we transitioned to the Skuid platform to provide a flexible, configurable UI with drag-and-drop components. We quickly ramped up a team of five developers and non-developers to build custom pages that replaced standard Salesforce screens, dramatically improving navigation and user experience. Backend automation and validation ensured data consistency across integrations with Salesforce, while the scalable architecture allowed the addition of dashboards, pages, and new components as reporting needs grew.
