
AUTOMATED AUTODESK ACCESS MANAGEMENT
THE CHALLENGE
Our client uses Autodesk to support building designs and project tracking, including folder structure creation. When business users needed to add multiple people to hundreds or thousands of projects, the process was manual and time-consuming—often taking an entire day. Additionally, manager approvals for Autodesk access were handled manually, causing delays for users needing system access. The client sought a self-service tool to speed up these tasks but lacked the resources or infrastructure to implement and maintain a new system.

OUR SOLUTION
We created a new Salesforce instance and built an integration between Salesforce and Autodesk. A web form was developed for business users to submit their information and the projects they support, triggering an automated approval workflow that grants access without manual intervention. This eliminated the need for manager approvals via an internal ticketing system, which previously could take a week or more. By streamlining the request and approval process within Salesforce, we significantly reduced onboarding time for Autodesk access.
